DU Palliative care and support graduation ceremony

This Friday, October 14, 2022, the graduation ceremony for the 5th promotion of the DU Palliative Care and Support took place at the Hermitage relay.
29 interns received their diploma this Friday in the presence of members of the DU committee:

- Dr Sophie AUGUSTIN
- Dr Philippe WALKER
- Dr Bastien THIEBAUD
- Ms Delphine TELES
- Ms Brigitte SAURAT
The University of Reunion has been offering this DU for almost 10 years, with an average success rate of 80%, no less than 30 people are trained each year at the local level: doctors, nurses and even assistants. -caregivers.
Trainees trained thanks to funding from their employer: the University Hospital, the CHOR, the Père FAVRON Foundation, the home care association (ASDR), the Children's Hospital, the Saint Benoît Clinic, etc.
This DU benefits from a strong involvement of professionals in the medical field to perpetuate this training and allow each health professional on the island to benefit from quality theoretical and practical teaching thanks to professionals from outside.
