The Equality Service and the University Art and Culture Service (SUAC) in partnership with the Women's Film Festival organized the screening of the documentary “Where are the Blacks? » With its director Madame Rokhaya Diallo as guest of honor.

This screening brought together an audience of around 200 people. The content of the documentary allowed spectators to question French cinema, particularly on the lack of visibility of minorities. The personal experiences of the different actors of the documentary in the audiovisual world were so poignant that the spectators could not remain impassive.

This event closed with discussion questions. The public who spoke were able to share the discrimination they experienced, question Ms. Rokhaya Diallo about her struggles and beliefs, but also debate the documentary.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, leaving an interesting experience both for the public, but also for our guest.

The objective, which was to raise awareness and prevent discrimination and more specifically sexism, was achieved and the public feedback was encouraging. This evening was a success as part of the International Week for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
