Presentation, objective(s):
The RÉUNION project consists of a first step in constituting a representative sample of the Réunion population. This sample of 1000 subjects recruited within the population area of St Pierre (97410) aims to serve as the basis for a cohort which could, depending on future funding, be followed over several years (ideally at least 10 years). in order to evaluate the risk factors, including environmental ones, which could explain the occurrence of metabolic disturbances and their complications in the context of exposure to infectious diseases. The main objective of the study is to describe the prevalence of cardio-metabolic and infectious pathologies in Reunion.
