Signature of agreement between the University of Reunion, CGSS and EN3S

A strong commitment: Support the vocation of students interested in careers in Social Protection through a support system for future talents at the University of Reunion.

This April 24, 2023 in the premises of the University of La Réunion, Mr. Frédéric MIRANVILLE, President of the University of La Réunion, Ms. Angélique JOSSERAND representing Mr. Dominique LIBAULT, Director of the National Higher School of Social Security (EN3S ) Mr. Benoît SERIO, Director General of the Caisse Générale de Sécurité Sociale de La Réunion, signed an agreement aimed at developing a partnership in terms of information, training and professionalization of students who are moving towards professions in the Social Security. The framework of intervention of each partner is thus determined, the methods of organization, animation and monitoring of the system for the benefit of students, in particular the Public Service Talents Preparation.

The University of Reunion Island is the only overseas university to offer three PrépaTalents classes, in a bachelor's degree in public administration, a master's degree in applied economics and a master's degree in public law.

Several areas of partnership have been defined:

  • Informing students about Social Security professions through the “Professional Days” of the University of Reunion
  • The participation of Social Security executives from the region in hosting University conferences
  • Preparing for the EN3S entrance exam for Prépa Talents students at the University of Reunion Island
  • Offering internships and welcoming students on a work-study basis.

This collaboration is beneficial for co-contractors who wish to develop or strengthen privileged links between them. It also serves the interests of the territory of Reunion and the Indian Ocean region, rich in talents just waiting to flourish.
