Testimony: Incoming teaching mobility – University of Mascareignes (Mauritius)
As part of the REUNION program, Mr. CUNDEN from the University of Mascareignes (Mauritius) carried out a teaching mission at the University of Reunion in March 2022.
As part of the REUNION program, Mr. CUNDEN from the University of Mascareignes (Mauritius) carried out a teaching mission at the University of Reunion in March 2022.
This course was aimed at Master 1 level students in the field of renewable energy.
His main activity focused on teaching the Optimization of Renewable Energy Systems module.
This mobility and more particularly this teaching, allowed him to share his knowledge of wind energy to Master Energy students.
This was also an opportunity to share with fellow Energy Lab teacher-researchers with a view to future collaborations for training and research, a special opportunity to expand its network of researchers in the Indian Ocean region in order to be able to establish collaborations to respond to common problems of our two islands.
This mobility gave rise to the possibility of setting up Master's training in collaboration with the University of Reunion. The development of calculation capabilities to improve modeling and downscaling, collaboration with the University of La Réunion in terms of quantum computing among others.
