On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the University of Reunion organized for the very first time the Kampus Kouler Tour, a colorful, festive and free race which brought together nearly 1000 students on the Moufia campus.
An explosion of colors and good humor
The event began with a giant warm-up with music and a group Zumba, which launched the participants into a supercharged atmosphere.
Throughout the course, entertainers threw colored powders at the students, with one goal: to cross the finish line as colorful as possible!
After the effort, it's time to party: a final explosion of colors lit up the campus, accompanied by a DJ who came to liven up the participants.
A first in higher education in Reunion
Already popular in several communities across the island, this type of event had never before been organized in a higher education institution. The University of Reunion is therefore the first higher education institution on the island to offer a colorful race on its campus!
A student life village to welcome and integrate
Beyond the race, the event was marked by the establishment of a student life village, a true showcase of the services offered throughout the year: sport, health, culture, community involvement... A space designed to promote the welcome, integration and well-being of all.
Run by the university teams, these stands illustrate the establishment's desire to unite your community and to provide a living environment conducive to academic and personal development.
A surprise presidential participation
The President of the University of Réunion, Professor Jean-François HOARAU, also participated in the event, completing the course alongside the students. A much-appreciated surprise that reinforced the conviviality and spirit of cohesion that the event fostered.
