New bilingual LLCER German – English (Foreign and regional languages, literatures and civilizations)

From the start of the academic year in August 2026, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities offers a new bilingual Bachelor's degree in German-English (Languages, Literatures and Foreign and Regional Civilizations).

Who Should Attend ?

Are you looking to go on a work placement in an English-speaking and/or German-speaking country?
Are you considering a career related to languages ​​or an international career?

The advantages of the LLCER German-English degree

Training content

  • Language courses in German and English (advanced grammar, phonetics,
    written and oral expression and comprehension; literary and journalistic translation)

  • Professional modules (e.g., German and English for tourism and business, translation)
    specialized and interpreting services in German and English…)
  • Cross-curricular teaching (methodology, digital culture, foreign language)
  • 70-hour professional internship in the third year
  • Option to prepare for the CAPES German teaching certification exam in the third year

Further studies and career opportunities

Dual skills open up a wide range of possibilities for entering the world
professional and allows for further studies in Reunion Island, mainland France or internationally:

  • Master's degrees related to teaching (Master M2E)
  • specializations in translation, interpreting, journalism, European studies and
    internationally
  • professional training in tourism management (IUP/IAE) and careers in communication, culture, tourism and international relations.
