This project falls under ERDF action sheet 2.10.1 – reconstruction, renovation, restoration of
public buildings impacted by Cyclone Garance.
Key dates:
- October 9, 2025: validation of the operation and its financing plan by the Board of Directors.
- From the end of October 2025 to December 10, 2025: assessment of the gymnasium and ESIROI,
- December 11, 2025: Submission of the grant application.
- April 10, 2026: notification of the draft ERDF agreement.
The purpose of the work operation following the damage caused by Cyclone Garance is, on the one hand, to restore the affected equipment and buildings in order to regain functional and safe working tools, and on the other hand, to improve, where possible, the infrastructure and/or equipment to make them more resilient to natural disasters in the future.
The operation consists of 4 identified components spread across the Moufia and Terre Sainte campuses.
Moufia Campus:
- Repair and reinforcement of the damaged sections of road located behind the gymnasium and
in front of the EVE building - Reinforcement of the load-bearing structure and replacement of research equipment
BSRN - Water ingress treatment (including joinery, polycarbonate sheets, specific points)
(on the roof) and replacement of the flooring in the sports field and combat rooms
and dance of the gymnasium
Holy Land Campus:
- Canopy replacement, ECS (replacement and reinforcement of the structure)
supporting the panels) and the false ceilings of the exterior walkways (structural reinforcement)
(supporting the false ceiling slabs) of ESIROI
Regarding the financial aspect of the operation, the estimated cost is €1,089,870.84 including VAT (i.e., €1,004,489.25 excluding VAT).
