Description of the WEU
'UEO History of Fashion offers an exploration of the major trends that marked the West between 1920 and 1950, while also addressing some contemporary figures through case studies.
Drawing on the creations of designers and the movements that have profoundly transformed the world of fashion, this course highlights how dress codes reflect social dynamics, between imitation and distinction. It also encourages the development of a critical perspective and a curiosity for fashion viewed as a cultural and social phenomenon.
