Description of the WEU
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art, recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This UEO invites you to discover the rhythms and legends that shaped this ancestral art through learning songs, playing percussion instruments (berimbau, pandeiro, atabaque, reco-reco and agogo) and developing body expression. This learning, in a friendly environment that facilitates exchanges between individuals, will also allow you to build bridges with the Reunionese culture (rond maloya and moringue).
At the end of this UEO, the student must be able to:
– Play musical instruments used in capoeira
– Master certain capoeira songs and their meanings
– Develop your self-confidence to progress in the capoeira roda
WHAT DO I LEARN? Targeted RNCP skill blocks
