Description of the WEU
Learning a new foreign language: Malagasy
The course is dedicated to beginners who are learning the Malagasy language. It is divided into several sequences structured around themes chosen according to their interest in terms of communication. The sequences are made up of dialogues, grammar lessons, comprehension and lexicon exercises.
This course aims to:
At the end of the course, the learner should be able to introduce themselves, carry on simple dialogue and understand everyday language utterances.

- Provide the student with basic knowledge of Malagasy language and civilization
- Writing: learn to read and write texts in Malagasy
- Orally: working on both understanding and oral expression, continuously as interaction in everyday situations
- Understand basic grammatical structures with emphasis on the specific elements of this language.
At the end of the course, the learner should be able to introduce themselves, carry on simple dialogue and understand everyday language utterances.
