Description of the WEU

Mastering French is an essential asset for success in your studies, exams, competitions, and professional integration. This elective course will allow you to sustainably improve your written expression, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills using the écri+ platform. A one-hour diagnostic assessment is offered in person, followed by four personalized learning paths to be completed remotely and asynchronously, at your own pace, with a new path submitted every two weeks. Additional learning resources will be available on Moodle. Throughout the semester, you will benefit from progressive training to prepare you for the national écri+ certification, recognized by numerous institutions and employers. The learning paths allow you to assess your readiness for registration for the écri+ certification. The final grade is based on four online learning paths; only the three highest grades are used to calculate the average. Invest in your academic and professional success by developing an essential skill for all professions: mastery of the French language.
