Description of the WEU

The general objective of this UEO is to give students as wide a range as possible of the history of Chinese literature, from the classical period to the contemporary era.


In the first part, “ancient and classic literatures” aim to provide keys to understanding Chinese thought through literature. A journey through works and genres that are very far from Western literature. From poetry to prose, Chinese literature has


By retracing the history of "modern and contemporary literature", the second part will lay the foundations for women's literature, political literature and the evolution of fantasy and science fiction literature in China.


Through various presentations of works, the aim will be to gain knowledge of Chinese literary trends, as well as the most appreciated authors in XNUMXst century China.
