Description of the WEU
This UEO is aimed at all students who experience difficulties in swimming and who are not capable of doing 50m without regaining support.
This will involve putting the most timid students at ease and reassuring them in order to acquire the certificate of knowing how to swim safely and allow them to do 100m on their front without taking any support.
“Swimming skills” in safety correspond to mastery of the aquatic environment. It recognizes the competence of a young person to swim safely, in a bathing establishment or a supervised area (swimming pool, water park, calm body of water with a gentle slope). It must be distinguished from the actual swimming activities set by the teaching programs.
