Our actions in favor of student life

To fight against menstrual poverty, and thus make the lives of more than 9000 students easier, the University of Reunion is committed to installing free periodic protection dispensers on all of the establishment's sites and campuses in the spaces common to students.

Whether for an emergency, an oversight, or to no longer have to choose between purchasing a meal or periodic protection, students will be able to obtain periodic protection free of charge and directly on campus.

Fighting menstrual poverty constitutes one of the University of La Réunion's flagship commitments in terms of gender equality.

Where to find distributors

In the long term, 45 distributors will be installed on all sites and campuses of the University of La Réunion.

Let's change the rules!

In addition to fighting against menstrual poverty, the objective of this action is to raise awareness and prevent period-related diseases such as toxic shock syndrome.

For more information and advice on choosing periodic protection, check out our page

Campus Safety

Following the attack that occurred in Arras on Friday October 13, the Vigipirate plan was raised to the “Attack Emergency” level throughout the country.

The security instructions of the Vigipirate plan can be found on our website and must be respected on all sites and campuses of the University of La Réunion.

I consult the safety instructions
