Access to social assistance for students is based on personalized support that helps identify their difficulties, assess their overall situation, and direct them to appropriate resources. This may involve an initial contact with the university social services, an interview with a social worker, and then, depending on their needs, an application for a scholarship, one-time assistance, emergency aid, or other specific programs.

  • First contact: Your first recourse remains the social service of the CROUS and the social service of the university, which are targeted to your student profile.
  • With the family: CCAS services tend to address the entire household if your difficulties concern family or off-campus situations.
  • In career change: CIAS is a second-level recourse, used if you are already being supported by a municipal scheme.
