How to apply?

Applications sent by post must take postal delivery times into account to be received by the establishment no later than Tuesday February 28, 2022, midnight, the strict deadline.


Constitution of applications and eligibility conditions

Any voter regularly registered on the electoral lists can be a candidate within the college of which he is a member.

No one may be a candidate on competing candidate lists during an election to the same body. Each list of candidates must ensure that its candidates are not registered on competing lists.

No person may be a member of a council of public higher education establishments if he or she has been convicted of a crime or sentenced to a prison sentence for an offense.


Presentation of applications

The submission of an individual declaration of candidacy is obligatory for each list of candidates.

The submission of lists must be accompanied by the original of the individual declaration of candidacy signed in original by each candidate.

The lists of candidates must be presented in accordance with the format of the forms made available to them on the Internet spaces of the University of La Réunion, and available from the Department of Legal and Institutional Affairs.

The lists must also include the surnames, first names, and contact details of a person authorized to represent the list in all electoral operations, designated as a list delegate.


Admissibility and eligibility

The President of the University verifies the eligibility of candidates. If it notes their ineligibility, it convenes the Advisory Electoral Committee for an opinion immediately after the deadline for submitting candidacies on Thursday March 02, 2023.

If necessary, the President of the University asks the delegate of the list concerned to make any necessary modifications. The latter has a period of two clear days from the request for modification.

The delegate of the list is regularly and validly informed of this request according to the contact details he indicated on the application submission form.

At the expiration of this same period, and in the absence of an express response from the list delegate, or in the event of refusal by the list delegate, the President of the University makes modifications and rectifications within the limits of the composition of the list concerned.

If the list delegate refuses to make the modifications, the President of the University rejects, by reasoned decision, the lists which do not meet the eligibility conditions.

The Advisory Electoral Committee is convened if necessary as soon as the lists have been verified, to establish the lists of admissible candidates, to carry out the drawing of lots determining the order of display of the admissible lists.
