Training summary
This mention aims for a very good command of the Spanish language, in order to achieve understanding and expression of speech of all kinds – written/oral. The Spanish Degree is part of the continuity of the acquisitions of the Modern Foreign Language (LVE) of Spanish during the secondary cycle in order to achieve balance expression skills, both written and oral, which allow to argue, to construct reasoning, to synthesize, produce, process and analyze diverse content, sometimes linked to professional projects linked to teaching (Certificate of Aptitude for Professorship of Secondary Education - CAPES d 'Spanish, Master LLCER - Hispanic World).
Training aims
- Offer an approach: linguistic, civilizational and literary to Spanish-speaking societies
- Acquire linguistic and methodological skills and knowledge, in terms of analysis, synthesis and argumentation
From the first year, we gradually enter the specialty while offering significant disciplinary training.
The pre-professionalization Teaching Units (EU) and the internship planned in License 3 show the desire to insert the training into the professional context of the students.

- Written and oral expression and communication: easily use the different registers of written and oral expression of the French language; Communicate orally and in writing, clearly and unambiguously, in at least one foreign language.
- Implementation of methods and tools from the disciplinary field: formulate written and oral analyses, summaries and written translations, from the language studied into the mother tongue or vice versa.
- Analysis of a question by mobilizing disciplinary concepts: easily use linguistic tools, in one's mother tongue and in the targeted language(s), allowing communication and understanding of any form of discourse (oral, directly produced or recorded, written , report, correspondence, information, essay, literary production, etc.), in different contexts; Mobilize concepts and theoretical frameworks in the field of the study of one or more foreign languages in connection with the corresponding socio-cultural areas; Analyze the oral production of the native speaker from phonological and phonetic points of view.
- Identification of a question within a disciplinary field: mobilizing historical knowledge, cultural and artistic references making it possible to construct perspectives and transfers between the geographical, political and cultural areas relating to the mother tongue and the target languages; Relate the productions of a given linguistic and cultural area at different periods or of these productions with those of other cultural areas in a comparative perspective.
