Summary of lessons by course

The German MEEF Master's course is structured around three axes:

1) The first part of the training concerns the culture common to all teachers and educators. The future actors of the educational community thus follow common lessons together which make it possible to create and live a shared culture. This shared culture promotes, on the ground, the cohesion of teaching teams, which is a key factor in student success.
These common lessons relate in particular to the following areas: secularism and values of the Republic, fight against all discrimination, child psychology, civil service law, inclusive education, management of diversity, learning process, fight against female-male stereotypes, etc.

2) The second part revolves around learning the profession in specific training adapted thanks to disciplinary and didactic university courses ensuring a strengthening of the Germanist knowledge and skills of the students to prepare them for the exercise of the profession as a German teacher as well as in the competitive exam.

3) The third component concerns training in contact with the field and linked to research. The Master MEEF German course as a university training mobilizes teaching teams from different backgrounds. Secondary German teachers, teacher-researchers, working professionals in National Education (inspectors, school heads, etc.) take part throughout the training course. The plural nature of these teams makes it possible to ensure training in line with the practice of the profession.
