Description of the WEU
Through films and even video games, 3D animation becomes a formidable vector of emotions. The world of animation draws on knowledge of our environment or more specifically that of our human body. This teaching UEO aims to introduce students to the world of 3D animation while combining theoretical and practical aspects. Also, we will borrow notions generally approached in an academic framework to understand the implementation of a 3D animation. A focus will preferably be placed on human movement, its modeling, its recording and its animation. Notions on 3D geometry, functional anatomy, vision will be covered as well as an introduction to motion capture and 3D model creation tools.
