Inspired by the work of Bernard Leveneur, director and curator of the Stella Matutina Museum, the exhibition “IAE Réunion, much more than 60 years of history” traces the evolution of the buildings which today house the IAE Réunion, the school University of Management from the University of Reunion which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

Through 20 panels distributed along its passageways, this exhibition traces the fascinating history of this building built from 1752, one of the oldest in the city!

From the Collège Saint-Cyprien, the first higher education establishment in the Indian Ocean, to housing the IAE Réunion, the buildings will have undergone profound modifications and various uses. Indeed, before becoming the center of excellence in management that we know today, these walls will have housed a military barracks, the Naval Commissariat, a colonial maternity hospital and a law school. A journey through time of almost 300 years, testifying to the historical importance of these places!

The exhibition is open to visitors from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 19 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. (excluding university holidays)
