A pillar of the local economy and fervent defender of Reunion Island businesses, Maurice Cérisola has invested his entire life in the industrial and economic world. He also had the strong conviction that the development of our territory would inevitably involve the training of its youth to make them the executives and managers of tomorrow's Reunion Island.

This is how he accompanied the IAE Réunion for 22 years as President of its Council. Constantly recalling the important place that businesses must have within our school, he has continued to work to bring the academic world closer to the economic world.

It is in this spirit, as IAE Réunion celebrates its 60 years of success, that the school wanted to bring together economic and academic stakeholders during a tribute evening which was held this Friday, May 26.

On this occasion, the name of Maurice Cérisola was given to the amphitheater of the IAE Réunion.

It was also an opportunity to discover the exhibition “IAE Réunion, much more than 60 years of history” inspired by the work of Bernard LEVENEUR, director and curator of the Stella Matutina Museum.
