It constitutes an important lever in order to meet the following objectives:

  • Increase the training offer for job seekers, young people who have dropped out of school or even people who are illiterate,
  • Enable sustainable integration by building secure, individualized, better coordinated and seamless training courses for people experiencing difficulty accessing employment,
  • Propose additional training courses to respond to recruitment difficulties in sectors under pressure.

In the presence of Mr. MIRANVILLE, President of the University of Réunion and Mrs. Nathalie NOËL, responsible for continuing professional training and apprenticeship, the Réunion Region is committed to our establishment on axis 2 of the Pact, namely : guarantee access for vulnerable groups to qualifying pathways through the consolidation of key skills: a requirement for building a skills-based society.

This agreement applies to the Diploma of Access to University Studies (DAEU) and the PRE-DAEU supported by the Lifelong Training Department (DFTLV) of our establishment.

The pre-DAEU is a one-year course. It is intended for trainees who, having a minimum level of education corresponding to the third year, stopped their studies before the first year or were directed towards short professional training courses (Professional Aptitude Certificate – CAP – Brevet d’Etude Professional – BEP). This training allows you to acquire the knowledge, general culture, methods and know-how essential to register, from the following year, for the Diploma of Access to University Studies (DAEU A).

The DAEU is a real second chance for all those who left the school system before obtaining the baccalaureate; it is an opportunity to return to studies in a very favorable context – adapted teaching, willing and motivated teachers – to access a higher level of qualification. The preparation strives to meet everyone's constraints: evening classes, during the day or remotely.

This diploma confers the same rights as those attached to success in the baccalaureate. In particular, it allows you to pursue higher education, or to take competitive examinations requiring a baccalaureate diploma.

This diploma is a national level IV diploma of the interministerial nomenclature of training levels.
