The president of the University of La Réunion, Frédéric MIRANVILLE, presents his best wishes to the university community.

Dear students, dear students,
Dear colleagues,
Dear partners,

I hope that you were able to take advantage of these well-deserved holidays to recharge your batteries with those who are dear to you. The second part of the academic year is beginning and I would like to send you my best wishes for health, success and happiness for 2023. May this year be bright and bring you fulfillment, both on a personal and professional level. professionally, within our beautiful Reunion, French and European university in the Indian Ocean.

At the time of recovery, rest assured that at my side, the presidential and management team is more determined than ever to deploy the energy necessary to successfully complete new projects and structuring training and research projects. for our establishment.

This team is today undergoing a reorganization, following the retirement of our DGS Mr. Lucay SAUTRON, after two and a half years of unfailing commitment to our establishment. On behalf of the entire university community, I want to thank him for his involvement in the complex and subtle function of the General Directorate of Services (DGS). Its expertise and project management support capabilities have enabled the operational implementation of the mandate's major projects. He made a new start this 1er January and I wish him all the best with all my heart.

Also, in order to ensure continuity of service while retaining at the head of the DGS a team which has proven itself and which has all the qualities to initiate a new phase of structuring and organization of the establishment, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nirmal NIVERT to the position of DGSi.

Doctor in public law from the University of La Réunion (2012) and Research Engineer, Mr. NIVERT first worked for two years as a study manager on local public policies for social cohesion at the University of Poitiers (2012-2014) before joining the Legal Affairs Department in the same establishment and then taking charge of it (2014-2020). After six years working as Director of Legal Affairs (DAJ) in Poitiers, he took over as head of the Legal and Institutional Affairs Department of the University of Reunion.

His qualities on the legal, organizational and managerial aspects, as well as the significant experience acquired as Director of Legal and Institutional Affairs within our establishment since June 2020, make him the best profile to continue the work started by his predecessor.

On behalf of the entire university community, I wish him an excellent start and wish him every success in this new mission at the service of our beautiful University of Reunion.

Rest assured, dear colleagues, dear students, dear partners, of my commitment to you and with you.
