Description of the WEU
This UEO is dependent on the availability of German-speaking students who volunteer to run it. It is therefore possible that it will be canceled if it is not also chosen by an incoming international mobility student.
These conversation workshops will be spaces during which students from the University of Reunion Island will be able to freely exchange orally with a student in an exchange program, in their mother tongue. The topics covered are first chosen by the student who will lead these workshops, but it is possible to submit proposals to them based on each person's interests. The small size of the groups will allow everyone to express themselves. The learning objectives consist of an improvement or consolidation of oral comprehension and oral expression. From the point of view of expression, this UEO aims to develop fluency and reduce apprehension in speaking a foreign language. Finally, intercultural encounter will be an important, even central, issue for this WEU.
