Designed studies

Every student deserves to succeed in their studies and student life whatever their situation. Thus, the university offers personalized support to those with physical, sensory or psychological disabilities, disabling health disorders or specific language disorders (e.g. dyslexia).

Are considered to have a disability:

  • students whose disability is recognized by the Departmental House for Disabled Persons (MDPH)
  • students with permanent or temporary disabilities who, after medical examination, justify specific measures

Do you have a disability?

When registering, declare yourself to our dedicated service, Mission Handicap. Therefore, our teams will make the necessary arrangements from the start of the academic year. The Handicap Mission is dedicated to welcoming all disabled students at the University of Réunion.

Its roles are:

  •  facilitate the pursuit of studies for students with disabilities
  •  be the interface between students, the different actors of the University Community and external partners
  • take into account your needs in a global and individualized way, in order to make the link between your study project and social life, by optimizing its autonomy, in the most satisfactory conditions: information; guidance; human, technical, material assistance…
